I'm in Hong Kong!! It's my last day and I should've blogged earlier but I'm saving it for a behind the scenes special when our fashion shoot comes out on Feb 18. So stay tuned...
In the meantime you can:
1. Get dizzy:

2. Love my new boots that Already gave me blisters:

3. Admire the handiwork of a Subway artiste:

4. And lastly the Chinese New Year celebrations that greeted us at breakfast:

I love this city! Have to come back soon for some of the best shopping and dining, and some of the kindest people I've met.

Stick figure mania

I feel a stick figure craze growing in Abu Dhabi... Saw the first one behind my office at The National newspaper and the second in the Meena area.

I would like to think they're a new trend done by some indie artist based in Abu Dhabi who's working on a series that he/she anonymously scatters all over the city. But really? Doubtful...

So if you see any more please share!

Paper and steel rods on Meena road (I had to run out of the car like a psycho at the traffic lights and snap this):

Suboth Gupta

I dunno if any of you were wondering who this extra cool grungy magnificent skull was made by, no not Damian Hirst, but the best New Delhi artist Subodh Gupta.  Who started in 1988. The piece I'm talking about is called "very hunger god" and was shown in 2006 in Saint bernard church in paris, during "la nuit blanche" one of my favorite times in paris. Ill hopefully do a post on that sometime. He used indian cooking utensils to construct his work and was commenting on the french soup kitchens use of pork as an ingredient in their food to deter the muslims from partaking in the meals.
